Dr Mahamadu Bawumia Vice President of the Republic of Ghana , born 7 October 1963 has in a short time become a formidable force in the New Patriotic Party especially among government associates but incredibly unknown by ordinary voters. The feat was achieved through his intellectual capacity as well as favour by party bigwigs against timid fear of the President Nana Akufo Addo.
It is largely perceived Dr Bawumia is a darling toy of the majority NPP servants of the President Nana Akufo Addo but woefully unappealing to the larger ordinarily NPP members.
It will be extremely tough for Dr Bawumia to win the flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party come November 4th unless his team employ apparatus of the 26th August 2023 super delegates conference of intimidation, threats and alleged bribery that secured his 68% victory.
